I loved the location and the facilities, especially the pool area, very clean and staff were friendly

The night staff was extremely helpful and accomodating after a very long and very tiresome day. He was exceptional. Night staff 100% a credit to the Dorsett. Day staff manager at front desk an unfriendly weprison guard who ruined what would have been a wonderiful stay.

Had the most incredible stay, originally booked one night, but added a second and didn't want to leave. Beautiful lobby with welcoming, helpful, friendly team on arrival. My room had an incredible view overlooking the pool, skyline and glimpses of the ocean. The team were lovely, attentive and they genuinely went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. My room felt beautifully relaxing, comfortable, fresh and modern. It was also super quiet in the room, soundproofing meant that I didn't hear a thing inside the room allowing me to make business calls and rest really well. The location was also ideal. I stayed because I was attending an event at the Convention Centre, which was just a few minutes walk through The Star lobby and over the covered walk way (all easy to navigate). Just a couple of minutes over the road is the beach, park area, neighbouring restaurants and cafes. Then across in the other direction, Pacific Fair shopping centre. All just a few mins walk. Being able to use the facilities next door at The Star makes it feel like you have a lot of spaces to explore and move around. Many different options for food, coffee and two pools to choose from. As a solo female staying here, I felt very comfortable, safe and well taken care of.

Very clean and you feel safe, the reception is tucked into the casino complex, and I love the side lift access you use on level 3 instead of going through reception all the time. The lifts were spotless and not so busy especially on the Thursday. Love the cafe in reception as well. Great for breakfast or a quick coffee. Brilliant access to pacific fair, G LINK and beach andof course the casino just up the escalator. Room was fantastic for a single person, fresh and clean bathroom, I requested a balcony with views and they were spot on I had views on the ocean side. I was on the 17th level as well which was not expected and the views were great. I also had a room clean on the second day which was not expected but welcome. All in all I think a better experience than the star casino rooms.

Access to the Executive Lounge was fantastic - breakfast selection was top class and the afternoon drinks and canapes were exceptional! Staff were very helpful and responsive. Location in proximity to The Star and Pacific Fair was perfect.
